Joan May

facilitating positive change: Joan May is the acting Chair of the San Miguel County Democratic Party (which could use more volunteers), a founding and continuing member of the Progressive Women’s Caucus, a retired 3-term County Commissioner, board member of sheep mountain alliance, and a current professional consultant, supporting government leaders on climate change policy. Joan has lived in San Miguel County since 1987 and enjoys pondering ballot measures and other typical mountain activities.
